The Suite
Fremont, CA
Project Scope: Full-Home Furnishings / Art / Rugs / Styling / Plants
This contemporary residence was designed as a high-performance environment—one that supports deep focus, creative problem-solving, and intentional recovery. Following a full gut renovation, the home was refined with integrated smart technology and pristine finishes, providing a clean architectural framework for a highly intentional interior.
The client, an engineer and tech entrepreneur, sought a space that could flex seamlessly between productivity and restoration. The design balances clarity and calm, with clearly defined zones for work, rest, and leisure, all unified through a cohesive material and visual language. The result is an environment that feels organized and disciplined, yet expressive and human.
The interiors were anchored by timeless modern pieces, including a tan upholstered bed frame from Design Within Reach and the iconic Charles and Ray Eames lounge chair—elements that reflect both precision and comfort. From there, the palette unfolded with intention: masculine and grounded, softened through organic textures, curated art, and selective moments of color that introduce personality without distraction.
Fusion quartzite was chosen for its natural movement and durability, bringing an organic sensibility that counterbalances the home’s clean lines and prevents the space from feeling sterile. Sculptural lighting and layered finishes further support a calm, focused atmosphere designed for sustained performance.
This home is not just visually refined—it is purpose-built to support how modern technologists live and think. A space where clarity, creativity, and restoration coexist, allowing ambition to thrive without burnout.
